Sophie’s Timeless Treasures is a proud veteran-owned business founded by Carmine Costello, a former U.S. Army Soldier of 13 years. After being honorably discharged in 2006, Carmine found solace in the nostalgic joy of comics and action figures from his childhood. Inspired by those cherished memories, Carmine partnered with his 10-year-old daughter, Sophia, to create Sophie’s Timeless Treasures—a place where the magic of pop culture’s past comes alive for collectors and enthusiasts.

At just 10 years old, Sophie is already making waves as a
young entrepreneur and creative force behind Sophie's Timeless Treasures.
Heading into 5th grade next year, she combines intelligence, honesty, and
respect with a strong passion for learning and exploring new ideas.

Sophie has a natural talent for math, making it her favorite
subject in school. When she’s not tackling equations, she’s out on the soccer
field, demonstrating the same discipline and determination that earned her a Brown
Belt in Taekwondo. Her artistic skills are exceptional, and she thrives in
STEAM-related activities, especially assembling electronic models and solving
hands-on challenges.

Beyond academics and hobbies, Sophie’s love for animals
shines through—especially her bond with Little Gary, her beloved dog.
She’s always ready to lend a helping hand and treat others with kindness,
embodying the values that make her a remarkable young leader.

Together with her dad, Carmine—a proud 13-year U.S. Army
veteran—Sophie runs Sophie's Timeless Treasures, a business
dedicated to collectibles that spark nostalgia, including comic books,
vintage toys, and action figures. Their passion for preserving treasured
items and sharing them with others fuels their growing success. Looking ahead,
Sophie and her dad plan to launch a YouTube channel, expanding their
reach and bringing their love for collectibles to an even wider audience.
